| Personal History | Sethan doesn't quite know where he's born, having lost his parents at a very young age. He was taken in by a Vulcan family who had recently lost their only child. Raised among the V'Tosh K'atur, he learned from an early age how to use and control his emotions, more often than not choosing not to control at all. Bonded at age seven, his betrothing was ended when his intended discovered he wasn't ever going to give her the attention she desired. Their betrothal was ended even before they became of age, with Sethan's confession that he would prefer a male partner. First attended medical school on Vulcan and earned his doctorate before deciding he wanted to learn more and enlisted with starfleet. He spent six years at Starfleet medical to expand his knowledge and gain more experience in exobiology. Eventually, after a brief romance, he married his current husband, Zhi'rev and has faithfully followed him across the universe on every assignment. Meaning, he too took up a teaching position at the academy, to stay close to his husband. |
