| Personality Overview | T'Mara walks a fine line between her logical, resonable Vulcan mind and her human, fallible one. She feels like this makes her an excellent security officer; she is a mix of logic and humanity, able to see the good in people, but with no hesitation when they prove her wrong. Strengths: -Logic -Wit -Stamina Weaknesses: -Sometimes has a hard time balancing both of her worlds. -Prone to overwork -Can be a bit tough on people because she forgets that other species don't run on pure logic. |
| Personal History | Born on Starbase 9 to two Starfleet officers. She is the second child of three. They lived there until she was four, and then moved back to a ship where she started school. She led a mostly normal life for a Fleet kid; her family moved from ship to ship as her parents' careers demanded. Her younger brother was born then. Later, the family settled on DS9; where their mother felt the children would benefit from a more "permanent" home. Indeed, it did help the children to grow into young adults. It was here that T'Mara's first introduction to safety and security happened. She was home alone, "sick" with ladies' troubles, and the ship was put into yellow alert. While her siblings were locked down in the school room, she wasn't. She snuck out of quarters, and found a young Starfleet enlisted officer-Ben Alexander. He was upset that she had left, but did let her assist with evacuating other civilians to a safe area, before he escorted her down to the Science office to sit with her mother. After that, T'Mara began to study how to best be safe on a vessel, and then, from there, when she went to the Academy, joined the Security corps. She eventually wants to pivot to strategic ops, but knows she needs to learn more right now. |
